Case Study: Doggy Style Training
Nathan Williams of Doggy Style Training was driven to develop a Dog Behvioural Training company that truly helped dogs and their owners. Nathan started with little more then an idea in early 2010, which is where we came in.
Nathan's first smart move as he put's it was to "do things right the first time". This meant approaching a professional design and web company to create his 'brand", including logo design, stationery, brochures, website design and social marketing development.
Branding, Print and Website Design Brief
The brief was to create something that really jumped off the page, that made people stop and look, and that portrayed the professional yet playful nature of the business. Nathan needed a brand that was going to make him be able to compete with the bigger and more established companies in the market, he also wanted his website to show his genuine desire to help dogs and their owners.
Logo, Branding and Web Design Solution
When developing the logo we wanted it to be big, bold and say exactly what the Nathan did without a second thought. We chose a doberman as this breed of dog is known for its discipline, regal stature and loyalty. It's silouette is strong symbol of these traits and suited the business and it's values.
When it came to the website we simply needed to convey the personal nature of the training process. The design needed to compliment the logo and other branding materials and we also needed to show plenty of photography of Nathan, his brand and the Dog's he has worked with, as wll as in depth case studies and his process.
